142. Apologies for Absence
Apologies were received from Councillor Dwyer, Councillor Goodwin and Councillor Moore.
143. Declarations of Interest
There were no declarations of interest.
144. Minutes of Previous Meeting
The minutes of the Licensing Board meeting held on 18 October 2011, were approved and signed by the Chairman.
145. Report on Prosecutions, Appeals, Licensing Update
The Board considered the report of the Regulatory Services Manager upon matters arising since the last meeting on 18 October 2011.
Members noted the report.
146. Exclusion of Public and Press
Moved by Councillor Campbell and seconded by Councillor M Roberts and resolved that the public and press be excluded from the meeting on agenda items 6 and 7 as they contain exempt information as defined in Paragraphs 4 and 7 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972 (as amended).
147. Licence to Drive Private Hire Vehicles - LIC/00012675/SW
The Licensing Officer outlined the report which is to decide whether or not to take any action to suspend or revoke this licence to drive Private Hire Vehicles.
The representative of the Police addressed the Licensing Board.
The applicant addressed the Licensing Board.
Moved by Councillor Campbell and seconded by Councillor M Saunders that:-
“to take no action”
MOTION ADOPTED.
148. Licence to Drive Hackney Carriage Vehicles - LIC/00020231/SR
The Licensing Officer outlined the report which is to decide whether or not to take any action to suspend or revoke this licence to drive Hackney Carriage Vehicles.
The representative of the Police addressed the Licensing Board.
The applicant addressed the Licensing Board.
The applicant answered questions of the Licensing Board.
Moved by Councillor Campbell and seconded by Councillor Coleman-Cooke that:-
“to issue a written warning with regard to his future conduct”
