To receive any declarations of interest.  Members are advised to consider the extract from the Standard Board Code of Conduct for Members, which forms part of the Declaration of Interest Form at the back of this Agenda.  If a Member declares an interest, they should complete that Form and hand it to the Officer clerking the meeting.

There were no declarations of interest.

To consider the report of the Licensing Manager, copy attached.

The Licensing Manager outlined the report in respect of the Application for Premises Licence, Stewart’s Café, 228 Margate Road, Ramsgate.

There were no objections from the Police.

There were no objections from Environmental Health.

The applicant’s representative was present and addressed the Sub-Committee hearing.

  Proposed by Councillor Watt-Ruffell and seconded by Councillor M Tomlinson that:

  “the application be approved subject to the conditions consistent with the operating schedule and the following additional conditions:

1)  There shall be no off sales

2)  Substantial food and refreshment be available throughout the permitted hours

3)  Mandatory conditions will apply under Sections 19-21 of the Licensing Act 2003. These relate to the supply of alcohol and designated premises supervisors, exhibition of films and admission of children, and door supervision and being licensed by the Security Industry Authority”
